Our story
it started with one store.
After selling their service station in Kenora, Ontario, Doug and Eva Dufresne decided to try retirement. It didn't last long. In 1986, they opened Dufresne Furniture & Appliances, laying the foundation for what would become a national home furnishings company.
Four decades later, The Dufresne Group remains proudly family-owned, with its roots firmly planted in Kenora and an established presence across Canada.
